Messenger going to retire

At Microsof, they decided that the 15th March discontinued Windows Live Messenger (formerly named MSN Messenger). Up until then you will still be able to use it as normal. Of course, after that, you will not be able to use it. No problem, you still have your smartphone or something else what is smart. As replacement for MSN Messenger you can’t use a normal GSM HandyPhone.

What is MSN Messenger?

Windows Live Messenger (formerly named MSN Messenger) is created by Microsoft. MSN Messenger lets you communicate with text, SMS, audio and webcam video, send files, or you can make them available via file sharing. This is on short.

MSN Messenger today!

Nothing special as I wrote earlier – it will be retired.

Over last two year the number of MSN Messenger have been dwindling. It had 300 million users in 2010. Meanwhile Skype has reached 280 million users.

Over the past few moths the Skype team has been working to integrate Microsoft  accounts with the option now available in the latest version of Skype to sign in using your Microsoft account.

Microsoft has attempted to bring Skype to the living room, as Skype is now compatible with TV sets or gaming consoles, such as XBOX.

How to solve the problem?

Do not agree with Microsoft to retire MSN Messenger? No problem! Microsoft will continue to provide MSN services in China. So you can move to China or you can download it here and use it to 15th March.

  2. I’ve been browsing online greater than 3 hours as of late, yet I by no means found any interesting article like yours. It’s beautiful value enough for me. In my view, if all webmasters and bloggers made just right content material as you probably did, the web will be much more useful than ever before.
